Laminomics

Unlocking the power of DNA for better health on Earth and in space

Explore how Laminomics is planning to adapt mankind for its future in the stars

About us

Preparing the way for human space exploration and adaptation to extreme environments

By 2050, it is predicted that thousands of people may start traveling to space. Yet we are biologically unprepared, with 60% of astronauts falling ill after 3-6 months in space. At Laminomics, we tackle these challenges through two key projects. LAM City, our self-sufficient Antarctic city-state, simulates extraterrestrial conditions to test health innovations and survival strategies. Shepherd, our advanced health technology, uses genetic data to create personalized medications for adapting to extreme environments. Together, these initiatives prepare humanity for its interplanetary future.

Our City

Explore How L.A.M City is Simulating Space Settlement Here On Earth

L.A.M (Living, Adaptation, and Mitigation) City is Laminomics’ ambitious project to create a self-sufficient city-state that addresses the challenges of human interplanetary settlement. By simulating extraterrestrial conditions, this city will test survival strategies, economic models, and health innovations crucial for space exploration. The project focuses on four pillars: practicing interplanetary settlement, developing a self-sufficient economy, catalyzing health innovations, and creating a genetically informed society. Our Technology

Personalized Health for Space and Extreme Environments

The Shepherd System aims to protect and adapt individuals against the biohazards of space travel and extreme environments by utilizing biodata for the development of pharmaceutical products. Individuals gain personalized health insights, while other key stakeholders benefit from access to extensive biological datasets for improved patient care, research, and targeted drug development. Early adopters will be able to participate in an analog city to test and refine the technology.
